How do I use cleanions?

Add 8 to 10 cleanions to the bottle. Add a small amount of warm water, no more than about 1 cm high. Close the bottle tightly and shake vigorously for at least 40 seconds. Please note that a slight pressure may build up inside the bottle. Open the bottle carefully and then rinse it thoroughly. For containers that cannot be closed, or for limescale and heavy soiling, fill the container to the top with hot water and add 8 to 10 cleanions. For best results, let the cleanions soak in the water for about 1 hour. If possible, then clean the container again as usual for another 40 seconds with the cleanions to remove the loosened dirt completely.

Can I also use cleanions for other open containers?

Yes, you can use cleanions for all kinds of containers. For open containers, we recommend filling the container to the top with hot water and adding 8 to 10 cleanions. For best results, let the cleanions soak in the water for about 1 hour. Then rinse the container thoroughly.

How many cleanions should I use?

For optimal cleaning, we recommend using 8 to 10 cleanions depending on the level of dirt. For light soiling, 8 pieces are enough. For heavy soiling, we recommend up to 10 cleanions. For especially stubborn dirt and bottles with a volume over 750 ml, you may also need to use more.

How long does cleaning with cleanions take?

For normal dirt, cleaning is quick and easy and takes only about 40 seconds. For limescale and heavy soiling, we recommend letting the cleanions soak in the container for about 1 hour for the best result.

Can I use cleanions for all types of bottles?

Yes, cleanions are versatile and suitable for drinking bottles made of plastic, aluminium, stainless steel or glass, as well as for vases, carafes and other hollow containers.

Do cleanions leave residues or affect taste or smell?

No, thanks to their ecological ingredients, cleanions do not leave behind odours or unwanted changes in taste. After thorough rinsing, your container is clean and fresh again.

If you use your drinking bottle daily, we recommend cleaning it once a week with our cleanions.

Are cleanions residues harmless?

Yes, tiny residues are harmless. However, we recommend rinsing the bottle well after every use of cleanions.
