How and how often should the washing machine be descaled?
To answer this question, two factors come into play.
- How hard is the water?
- How often do you wash?
In the table below you will find the information, the amount of descaler to be used and the frequency of use.
You can descale the machine as follows:
- Clean / wash out detergent drawers with a damp cloth and remove detergent residue
- Clean the fluff filter
- Put washing machine descaler in the washing drum and select a wash program with at least 60 °C without pre-wash. If possible, run an extended main wash cycle.
